Search OrganizationsHow to fill out this formIf you know the name of the organization or the URL of the organization's Web page, type them into the appropriate field. If you know any part of the address of the headquarters of the organization you are interested in (street address, city, province or country) type it into the address field. If you would like to look for an organization's information in a specific language, choose the language from the choices found in the drop down menu for language. If you know a word which describes the organization you're looking for, but aren't sure which field it can be found in, type it into all, which searches all of the fields. If you put words into more than one field (for example: an organization name and language), and would like to receive ONLY information which contains both, make sure the "And" button is filled in on the right hand side of the screen. If you would like information either by the author or with the specific title you have typed in, make sure the "Or" button is filled in on the right hand side. You can determine how much information you see once you have conducted a search. For instance, choose how many results per page are displayed by choosing a number from the drop down menu. (Hint: the more results you have per page, the more scrolling you will have to do to look through them.) The output format allows you to choose how much information is displayed. The long result will give you the name of the organization, its address and a URL for its Web page, if it has one. The URL gives you the name of the organization and its URL, if any. In both cases, the organization name is a link to the full entry in our database; click on the headline and you will get the full text. Once you have filled out as much search information as you need, click on the Search! button. Good luck. Top ^ |
