Thanks to everyone for a great workshop.

Please view our Netcast Real Streaming Archives now available by clicking on Netcast link on the left navigation menu.

The eForum will remain open for your comments until Saturday April 14th. Give us your feedback, so we can refine the workshop and S2S strategy, develop the elements for the S2S kit, and complete the memo to HRDC. From time to time, the eCommons organizers will send out updates on eForum posts. Thanks to all.

Sustainability. It has been called the "s" word for good reason. Not-for-profit groups often lack the skills, and even the motivation, to ensure their projects outlast the grants they receive to keep them going. If Canada is to grow a strong community learning network system, we need to change this situation.

The Ontario Forum Working Group, Community Learning Networks/ Office of Learning Technologies (CLN/OLT), Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC), is planning a three-day forum where we can develop solutions to these problems together.

Called From Survival to Sustainability (S2S): CLN Ontario Working Forum 2001, this workshop will both give us an opportunity to network with our fellow Ontario-based CLNs, discussing common challenges and opportunities, and address our very real needs with respect to understanding and creating sustainability in our particular projects. Expert presenters and invited observers will also participate in this highly focused session.

The S2S CLN Ontario Working Forum 2001 takes place in downtown Toronto beginning on the evening of Friday, March 30, 2001 and concluding with a live Netcast on Sunday, April 1, 2001.
